Taco Salad

3lbs ground beef
 One head of lettuce
 4 or 5 tomatoes
 One big bag of nacho-flavor tortilla chips
 One 16fl oz. Thousand Island Dressing
 2/3 cup of picante sauce
 1/2 cup ketchup
 3 packs of taco seasoning
 8oz of tomato sauce
 6oz of tomato paste
 One cup of water
 5lb of shredded Cheddar cheese

  1. Brown all the ground beef until fully cooked.
  2. Drain the beef very well
  3. Put the beef back in pan it was cooked in.
  4. In a bowl mix up the taco seasoning, tomato sauce, paste and the water very good.
  5. Add the mix to the cooked beef.
  6. Cook all till the water is gone it should be very thick but not too dry.
  7. Cut the lettuce in to small bite sizes pieces
  8. Cut the tomatoes in to small bite sizes pieces
  9. In a big serving bowl or roster pan put in the chips, lettuce, tomatoes, beef mixture, cheese, dressing, ketchup, and picante sauce.
  10. The best way to mix it is with your hands, the more it is mixed the better it is.
  11. Cover it and take to the potluck or picnic
  12. Keep it cool until ready to serve
