Pizza in the Oven
CF ID: RubenRMunoz
Late one recent evening after a long hard
12 hour day of work, my wife
left me the responsibility of cooking for
myself. Of course looking for the
most fulfilling result with the least time
effort, I choose to embrace the nice
cheese pizza sitting in the freezer.
Lifting the heat quickly and pumping
up the heat to 400 degrees, I pulled
the plastic off and threw that
little baby on the cookie sheet. Taking
a quick shower and knowing intuitively as
a good man should how long it takes
to cook a pizza, I later return to notice
a slight burning smell. Taking the pizza out
and slightly perplexed as to the burning smell,
I look in the oven for something else, but
nothing unusual. Looking ok, I dig in with
my new pizza cutter and notice it's a little
crunchy. With the cheese a little hot, I anxiously
bite down, and taste awful burnt cardboard
underneath my pizza! I left the stupid cardboard
underneath the pizza and cooked it, my crust
was almost raw.... Bummer....
I won't do that again. Don't tell anybody.
Sincerely, RubenRMunoz
