Cookin-Fun Contests

APRIL 2006 CONTEST    

It's Easter and recipes with hard boiled eggs all ways come out this time of year. So for April's contest, we want to know your favorite recipe using hard boiled eggs.*

* a hard-boiled egg definition per the online dictionary
       
 - an egg boiled gently until both the white and the yolk are solid.

All recipes will be prepared by the Cookin-Team Staff and taken to Rebel's daughter's (Crystal) wedding rehearsal on May 1st. The attending guests will decide the winners to be  announced on the Cookin Team's return.
Please be sure and include detail instructions so we can make it as you would.

APRIL's EGG RULES:
1. Eggs must be hard boiled and shelled.
2. Eggs are not to be just a garnish, sliced or put on top of a dish of food or served along side another dish but included in the recipe.
3. Chicken eggs ONLY! no turkey, eagle, turtle or other eggs, strictly chicken eggs. This includes no chocolate eggs, or eggs made out of other substances that are shaped like an egg.
4. If you don't know how to hard boil an egg, then you don't cook much and this should help. How to make a Hard Boiled Egg   Remember this is NOT a contest to tell how to boil an egg.
5. Please try to use the form below to send your entry.
6. Numbered small steps will be greatly appreciated.
7. The judges (the wedding guests) decision is final!
8.  Serve from 2- 10 people please. We will adjust accordingly.
9. Recipes already present in the Cookin-Fun monthly recipes are not eligible

SAMPLE Format:
(this recipe and ingredients strictly for demonstration purposes, it is not real!)

NAME OF RECIPE: Chicken Little Sky High
INGREDIENTS: a list
3 Hard boiled eggs
1 cup espresso
carrot sticks or vegetable of choice.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. mash the eggs with fork till they all smooched.
2. pour coffee over eggs, mix well
3. Place in bowl and chill till brown.

SERVING: Serve mixture with Carrot or veggie sticks for dipping to unwanted guests. (please do NOT make this recipe or take it seriously, it is a joke!)
